GOD'S LOVE

God, the Creator of the universe and everything in it, is sometimes perceived by those who don’t know Him personally, as a fearsome Being who is watching every move we make, every step we take—brandishing the rod of correction at every wrong turn. God is watching!
Ah, yes, God is watching, but...

He is watching with the eyes of One who loves you deeply, personally, and desires that you choose to accept His gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

But God commendeth his love toward us,
in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8)

God does not wish to withhold from you all that brings you pleasure and happiness, rather He longs to give you those things which will provide you lasting peace that passes understanding and boundless joy even in a world which is rife with sorrow, suffering, confusion, crime, immorality, and instability. He has for you the true “good life”--and eternal life.

God is holy and cannot look upon sin, but who has lived a sinless life?

As it is written,
There is none righteous,
no, not one.
(Romans 3:10)

For all have sinned and come short
of the glory of God.
(Romans 3:23)

So God provided a way of escape from sin’s power over us -
a bridge to span the gap between Himself and sinful man.

For the wages of sin is death, but
the gift of God is eternal life
through Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)

Oh, how He loves you and me.

The practices of religion will not save your soul.
Let's look at that again:

No religion will save you from your sins or secure for you eternal life.

For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves:
[it is] the gift of God:
Not of works,
lest any man should boast.
(Ephesians 2:8-9)

Only a personal relationship with God through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ will provide a person abundant life on earth and eternal life with God in heaven.

If you're a member of a denomination or religion which teaches that believing in the doctrines of your religion will make you righteous and/or earn your entrance to heaven, they're teaching a different gospel. They're preaching a different Jesus.

This people draweth nigh unto me
with their mouth,
and honoureth me with their lips;
but their heart is far from me.
But in vain they do worship me,
teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
(Matthew 15:8-9)

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:
for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
(Romans 3:20)

If your church teaches grace and love, yet omits the holiness, the righteousness of God, and His instructions to follow and obey Him, they're teaching a different gospel. They're preaching a different Jesus.

For this is the LOVE OF GOD,
that we keep his commandments:
and his commandments
are not grievous.
(1 John 5:3)

And being made perfect, he became
the author of eternal salvation
unto all them that obey him;
(Hebrews 5:9)

Many believe we are living in the last days.

The Bible says:

This know also, that in the last days
perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, without self-control, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof.
(II Timothy 3:1-5)

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

(II Timothy 4:3-4)

The Bible says that one day
EVERY knee will bow and EVERY tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord—”every” includes you and me.

We can decide to serve Him right this minute,
sealing the promise of eternal life with Him
and breaking the bonds of sin which lead to death.

Don’t wait until it’s too late,
and one day it will be.

The Lord is not slack concerning
his promise,
as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance.
II Peter 3:9

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour, won’t you invite Him into your heart today?

† COME "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

† CONFESS "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:8,9)

† REPENT   "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)

† RECEIVE JESUS  "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12,13)

† BELIEVE "Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Acts 16:31)

If you are already serving the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and are eagerly awaiting His return, when we will be gathered together to meet Him and live with Him forever, remember His Words to us:

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you always,
even unto the end of the world.
Amen.
Matthew 28:19-20

He is Watching!...

GOD LOVES YOU
SO MUCH
HE CAN’T EVEN KEEP
HIS EYES OFF OF YOU

If we don’t meet on earth, I’ll be looking for you in heaven!
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy,
and for thy truth’s sake.
(Psalm 115:1)
